How to Activate Your PlayStation Game

Activating your PlayStation Game allows you to start playing and enjoying your newly purchased title. Follow these steps to activate your PlayStation Game:

Step 1: Purchase or Obtain Your PlayStation Game

• PlayStation Games can be purchased digitally from the PlayStation Store or through physical game discs.
• If you purchased a digital copy, you will receive a Redemption Code either via email or on your receipt. If you bought a physical copy, insert the disc into your console to begin the activation.

Step 2: Log In to Your PlayStation Account

• Turn on your PlayStation Console (PS4 or PS5) or open the PlayStation App or PlayStation Store website on your PC.
• Sign in to your PlayStation Network (PSN) account. If you don’t have an account, you can create one for free.

Step 3: Redeem Your Digital Game Code (if applicable)

• On your PlayStation Console (PS4 or PS5):

  1. Open the PlayStation Store from the main menu.
  2. Scroll down and select Redeem Codes.
  3. Enter the Redemption Code provided with your digital game purchase.
  4. Press Continue and then select Redeem to activate your game.

• On the PlayStation App:

  1. Open the PlayStation App and sign in.
  2. Tap your Profile Picture in the top-right corner and select Redeem Codes.
  3. Enter the Redemption Code and tap Redeem.

• On the PlayStation Store Website:

  1. Visit the official PlayStation Store website and sign in to your PSN account.
  2. Go to the Redeem Codes section.
  3. Enter your Redemption Code and click Redeem.

Step 4: Install the Game

• Once your game code has been redeemed, the game will be added to your Library and begin downloading automatically.

• On your PS4/PS5 Console:

  1. Go to your Library or Notifications and select the game.
  2. Wait for the download and installation to complete.
  3. Once finished, select the game to launch and start playing.

• On the PlayStation App:

  1. Go to your Library to locate the game and select Download to Console.
  2. Once downloaded, open the game from your console.

Step 5: Start Playing Your Game

• After the game is installed, you can select and start playing it directly from your Home Screen or Library.

Troubleshooting Game Activation Issues

• Invalid Code: Make sure there are no typos or extra spaces in the code.
• Region Restrictions: Verify that the game code is valid for your region or country.
• Already Redeemed: If the code has already been used, it cannot be redeemed again.
• Expired Code: Ensure that the game code hasn’t expired by checking your purchase details or contacting support.
